Responsibilities

As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation including real estate litigation, construction liens, and construction defect claims.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies, and manage discovery and trial preparations.
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
• Draft and review various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Provide legal advice to clients, making recommendations based on sound legal judgment.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, maintaining open communication and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on real estate litigation, construction liens, and construction defect claims.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex commercial litigation cases from start to finish.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to stay updated with latest developments in commercial litigation and related areas of law.
