Job summary

BENANTI & ASSOCIATES is seeking an Associate Attorney/Lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in commercial/c creditors' rights and bankruptcy litigation in Connecticut. The role is based in Stamford, CT, with on-site duties and potential hybrid work for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will prepare complaints and pleadings, appear in court, perform legal research, advise clients, and support litigation strategies while collaborating with senior attorneys.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Connecticut bar.
• Strong academic and work experience record.
• Ability to litigate and argue matters in court.
• Proficient in legal research, including use of legal databases and preparation of memoranda.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complaints, pleadings and legal documents.
• Appear in court and litigate motions.
• Perform legal research and provide written and oral analyses.
• Advise clients on legal matters and participate in negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and manage case files.
