Job summary

OlenderFeldman LLP in New Jersey seeks a Litigation Associate (1‑4 years) to join our trial‑minded team. This full‑time hybrid role is based in Summit and/or Tinton Falls with in‑person work three days a week and exposure to high‑stakes disputes.

You will represent businesses and individuals in commercial and employment litigation, draft pleadings and briefs, take depositions, and help shape litigation strategy. NJ admission required; NY admission a plus. Competitive salary with bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial, employment, or complex business disputes.
• Prior judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey (New York bar admission a plus).
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience managing discovery, motion practice, and client communications.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent businesses and individuals in commercial and employment litigation in state and federal courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
• Handle disputes involving shareholder, member, and partnership conflicts.
• Litigate restrictive covenant matters, including non-competition, non-solicitation, confidentiality, and trade secret disputes.
• Handle disputes involving data breaches, privacy issues, and technology-related claims.
• Litigate intellectual property matters, including trademark, trade dress, copyright, and unfair competition claims (both before administrative bodies and in court).
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs; conduct depositions; argue motions; and assist with hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Serve as a direct point of contact for clients on assigned matters and contribute to overall litigation strategy.
