Job summary

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in San Francisco seeks an associate to work on a broad range of complex commercial disputes across industries. You will manage and support all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, conduct legal research, and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.

Applicants should be admitted to the California Bar or eligible to waive in. Prior trial or hearing experience is a plus, with flexible and hybrid work opportunities aligned to client needs.

Qualifications

• Admission to practice in California or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.
• Prior trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience is a plus.
• Experience handling commercial disputes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support all phases of commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and draft substantive motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Handle fact investigation, document review, and witness preparation; participate in depositions and hearings.
• Contribute to litigation strategy and business development initiatives.
