Job summary

Burr & Forman LLP seeks an Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our General Commercial Litigation practice in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be based in Charleston/Daniel Island, although candidates in Greenville or Columbia will also be considered.

The associate will work on a diverse range of commercial litigation and health care litigation matters and should be comfortable taking an active role throughout the life cycle of a case.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Admission to the South Carolina Bar and based in South Carolina.
• Experience taking depositions and arguing motions.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage matters through the life cycle of cases with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with partners on a diverse range of general commercial and healthcare litigation matters.
