The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience, active Illinois license, strong legal writing and research skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters with increasing independence.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Illinois; additional bar admissions a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial litigation; real estate, estate planning/administration, or corporate experience also considered.
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with growing independence.
• Interest in a diverse, client-focused practice; willingness to work across practice areas.

Responsabilités

• Manage client matters from intake through resolution with a focus on commercial litigation and the opportunity to work in real estate, estate planning and administration, or corporate matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, contracts, and other legal instruments
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, persuasive written work
• Attend court hearings, closings, and client meetings, and negotiate on clients' behalf
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues across KH offices on strategy and client service
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
