Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is partnering with a prestigious Michigan firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate. This role offers direct involvement in sophisticated disputes, with meaningful courtroom exposure and exposure to case strategy.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, strong writing and advocacy skills, and be eligible for Michigan Bar admission. Excellent opportunity for growth within a high-stakes practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally in a law firm setting.
• Strong commercial litigation background, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Interest in taking ownership of matters and gaining meaningful courtroom and trial experience.
• Admission to the Michigan Bar, or eligibility and willingness to become admitted in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Actively litigate cases and contribute to case strategy from early assessment through resolution.
• Provide direct exposure to hearings, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.
• Craft persuasive pleadings, motions, and written advocacy for clients.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to service matters efficiently.

About the Opportunity

The firm is known for handling high-stakes commercial disputes and providing associates with direct exposure to case strategy, client service, written advocacy, depositions, and hearings. Associates in this group are expected to actively litigate, think strategically, and contribute meaningfully to matters from early case assessment through resolution.
