Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.

• Experience with discovery and e-discovery processes.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial and corporate disputes.

Role Overview

The associate will represent clients in a broad range of complex commercial and corporate disputes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Managing commercial litigation matters through various stages of the case
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy
• Managing written and document discovery
• Handling e-discovery matters
• Preparing for and participating in depositions
• Supporting hearings and court appearances
• Working directly with clients on case strategy and developments
• Managing deadlines and substantive litigation responsibilities with increasing independence

Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3-7 years of commercial or business litigation experience
• Experience representing clients in complex corporate and commercial disputes
• Strong pleadings and motion practice experience
• Discovery and e-discovery experience
• Deposition and/or courtroom experience is a plus
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader litigation team
