Job summary

Jobot is seeking a mid-level associate to join a prominent D.C./Virginia commercial litigation team and handle sophisticated disputes across a broad industry and client base. You will manage meaningful components of complex commercial litigation from pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, trial preparation, and resolution.

Salary is $215,000–$355,000 per year with a hybrid work model (generally three days per week in office), a billable target of 1,850 hours, and wide-ranging

  • At least three years of substantive commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, oral advocacy, organization, and matter-management skills.

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing in the applicable jurisdiction.

  • Manage meaningful components of complex commercial litigation from pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, trial preparation, and resolution.
  • Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery, and strategic case assessments.
  • Take and defend depositions, work with experts, and communicate directly with clients.
  • Coordinate junior team members and multiple deadlines across active matters.
  • Contribute to client presentations, pitches, and broader practice development.
