Job summary

Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in multiple offices for a litigation associate. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of general commercial litigation experience and must be licensed to practice in North Carolina.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and discovery, contributing to case strategy, drafting and arguing motions, and taking depositions. North Carolina state and federal court experience is required.

Qualifications

• Superior academic record and strong research and writing skills.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Large law firm experience preferred.

Clerkship experience and/or trial experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
