Job summary

Lockridge Partners, a respected New York litigation boutique, seeks a mid-level associate to handle high-stakes commercial disputes. You will work directly with partners on complex matters, from pleadings through trial, across state and federal courts.

You will contribute to depositions, discovery workflows, and motion practice while building client relationships and gaining courtroom time. Mentorship and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to the New York Bar.
• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm.
• Employment or labor dispute experience is a plus.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a demanding caseload.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial litigation from initial pleadings through trial and post-judgment enforcement.
• Conduct and defend depositions; manage discovery including e-discovery workflows.
• Draft and argue dispositive and pre-trial motions in New York and federal court.
• Communicate directly with clients and manage client relationships.
• Support business development and client pitches alongside senior attorneys.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A well-regarded New York litigation boutique known for high-stakes commercial disputes is seeking a mid-level associate. Associates are given genuine responsibility from day one, working directly with partners on complex business disputes, contract claims, fraud actions, and employment-related matters across state and federal courts. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Communicate directly with clients and manage aspects of client relationships
• Support business development and client pitches alongside senior attorneys
