Litigation Associate | Securities & Complex Commercial Litigation

Job Summary:

Join a high-performing litigation team handling sophisticated securities and complex commercial disputes for a diverse client base. We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate with 4-8 years of experience who is eager to take on significant responsibility, develop case strategy, and play an active role in all phases of litigation.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on securities and complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, legal correspondence, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other litigation-related documents.
• Participate in depositions, court conferences, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute effective case strategies.
• Analyze and interpret statutes, case law, regulations, and legal developments relevant to ongoing matters.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and production, interrogatories, and exhibit preparation.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation, case development, and organization of trial materials.
• Maintain regular client communication, provide legal guidance, and keep clients informed of case developments.
• Conduct witness and client interviews as part of fact development and case investigation.
• Attend client meetings and participate in settlement negotiations when appropriate.
• Support additional litigation projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

What You'll Bring:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in New York and good standing with the applicable bar; New Jersey admission is a plus.
• 4-8 years of law firm experience focused on securities litigation and complex commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidentiary rules, and litigation practice in state and federal courts.
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, writing, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using legal research and case management platforms.
• Outstanding attention to detail, organization, and client-service orientation.
