Upperline is helping an AmLaw 50 law firm add a 2023/2024 associate to its Houston-based commercial litigation practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience handling sophisticated business disputes in both state and federal courts. The role requires strong written advocacy, confident oral communication, and hands-on experience managing key phases of litigation. Relevant experience should include:

• Overseeing written discovery and document production;
• Preparing witnesses to provide testimony; and
• Representing clients at status conferences and motion hearings in state and federal court.
• The Houston office has just under 50 attorneys with 21 in litigation
• Houston has a friendly, approachable and down-to-earth atmosphere in a welcoming and professional environment
• Candidates should expect to be in the office 4 days a week
