Job summary

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join their Commercial Litigation group in Boston or New York. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience managing complex commercial disputes, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and trial preparation. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must. This full-time role offers an estimated salary range of $225,000 - $325,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, 401(k), and disability insurance.

Qualifications

Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of your primary office.
Have outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comparable law firm and/or clerkship experience preferred.
Experience conducting discovery, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions.
Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus.

About the Role

Brown Rudnick is seeking a talented 2nd – 5th year Litigation Associate to join our Commercial Litigation group in either Boston or New York. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing key phases of complex, high‑stakes commercial disputes. This includes handling written and document discovery; conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, pleadings, and dispositive and non‑dispositive motions; taking and defending depositions; assisting with witness preparation; and supporting all aspects of trial preparation and strategy. Strong analytical, writing, and case‑management skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with partners and clients.

Our Dispute Resolution & Restructuring Department serves a wide variety of clients in connection with many exciting and challenging matters in a dynamic environment. The team is comprised of high performing, creative thinking trial lawyers.
