Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative in Metairie, LA, to support daily servicing of accounts under the direction of the Account Executive and Producer. You will interact with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely service of policy needs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of Commercial Lines experience, a high school diploma, and a Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2+ years of Commercial Lines experience preferred
• Active Property and Casualty License is preferred or must be willing to complete licensing requirements within 60 days of hire if not already obtained
• Strong computer skills and proficient with various software programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Organized and highly detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Issue auto ID cards, binders, certificates & Evidence of Property
• Order loss runs and input information
• Order MVRs and E Mods
• Process change requests and cancellations – suspense and follow up
• Audits – including checking rates, ordering worksheets and invoicing
• Support Account Manager and Account Executives - provide updates once policy is bound (update future application and pull over to current)
• Process new business and renewals
• Set up/update billing information
• Scan and input all correspondence into paperless file
• Email signed forms to carrier
• Invoices
• Prepare policies to be delivered
• Reconcile fleet schedules
• Prepare tabs for proposals
• Agent of record letters
• Finance agreement quotes
• Renewal of all policies
• Additional administrative duties – general scanning, mail, phone support
• Assist as needed with various projects
• Handle claims intake for the unit

Summary

The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of specific accounts at the direction of the Account Executive and/or Producer. This position requires direct interaction with clients, Account Executives, Producers, insurance companies, finance companies and various departments within the HUB organization.
