Job summary

Insurica in Houston, TX seeks a Commercial Assistant Account Manager to support the account team with endorsements, certificates, invoices, and renewals. You will input data accurately into the agency systems and help meet service standards for customers and prospects.

The role requires a 2 Year Degree, a Property and Casualty license or willingness to obtain one, and preferably CISR designation or prior insurance experience.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license or willingness to quickly obtain one.
• Previous insurance experience preferred.
• CISR designation preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service to customers and prospects.
• Process endorsements, certificates, and invoices for all transactions as per instructions from the Account Manager.
• Process change confirmations.
• Assist the department in processing new and renewal business, as requested, through application assembly and file setup.
• Invoice—assigned commercial premium transactions following agency procedures.
• Process confirmed cancellations and maintain client files on computer systems.
• Support the department with PC skills and rating programs in our automation system.
• Maintain knowledge of company change procedures and adhere to policies.
• Participate in seminars and training to maintain required licenses and knowledge.
