Job summary

Criterion Executive Search is seeking an Account Manager to oversee day-to-day service for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts in Medina, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in account management and an active P&C license.

Responsibilities include managing renewals, identifying coverage gaps, and collaborating with agency leadership. The position offers a hybrid schedule, health and dental insurance, performance-based bonuses, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial lines account management experience, agency-side preferred.
• Active Ohio P&C license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day service for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts including renewals, endorsements, certificates, coverage reviews, and carrier communications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering proactive, responsive, and consultative service.
• Identify coverage gaps and cross‑sell opportunities; coordinate with producers on account rounding.
• Prepare renewal submissions, marketing summaries, and coverage comparison analyses.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, including evaluating and implementing technology tools that improve efficiency and client experience.
• Collaborate with producers and agency leadership on middle‑market account strategy.
• Document workflows and contribute to agency operating procedures and knowledge base.

• 2+ years of commercial lines account management experience (agency‑side preferred).
• Active Ohio P&C license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• AMS360 experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
