Base pay range

Pave Talent is excited to partner with our client, a dynamic and growing independent insurance brokerage, to find their next Commercial Lines Account Manager. Our client is an independently owned, family-style brokerage based in California. They are a small, fast-growing agency powered by a strong referral network of repeat clients and a culture that values trust, independence, and client advocacy.

We’re seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager who’s ready to manage a diverse book of business, deliver concierge-level service to VIP clients, and excel in a role that blends Commercial and Personal Lines expertise. Note on Remote Work & Licensing: This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the United States. However, you must have or be able to obtain a California Property & Casualty license. If you’re licensed in a state with a reciprocal agreement, transferring your license to California is straightforward. Please check your state’s eligibility for reciprocity.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Manage Commercial accounts from start to finish—certificates, audits, endorsements, renewals, and remarketing—delivering seamless service every time.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle coverage needs across GL, WC, Property, E&O, D&O, and more, crafting tailored solutions for diverse risks.
  • Provide VIP Service: Handle Personal Lines for executive households, building lasting relationships through concierge-level care.
  • Team Up: Partner with Producers on proposals and spot opportunities to grow accounts through smart upselling and cross-selling.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience managing mid-market Commercial P&C accounts—you’ve got the skills to handle complexity with confidence.
  • Licensing: Active Property & Casualty license. California licensure is preferred, but candidates from other states are welcome as long as you can obtain a California license (many states have reciprocal agreements for easy transfer).
  • Versatility: A proven knack for balancing Commercial and Personal Lines, delivering top-tier service across both.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency with agency management systems
  • Leadership: A drive to mentor others and contribute to a growing team’s success.
