Job summary

Foundation Risk Partners in Warrington, PA is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join the KMRD Partnersteam. You will manage client relationships, oversee policy renewals, and ensure coverage meets evolving business needs.

Ideal candidates thrive in a fast‑paced environment, value client service, and collaborate with a team to provide tailored risk management strategies. Exposure to negotiations with underwriters and handling policy changes is expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of Applied Epic is highly preferred.
  • High school diploma, college degree preferred.
  • Property & Casualty License

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, carriers, and producers for billing, policy changes, cancellations, claims, and general inquiries.
  • Address and resolve client questions, service issues, and coverage or accounting concerns.
  • Prepare marketing submissions and market accounts approximately 90 days prior to renewal.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage details with underwriters.
  • Prepare proposals and financial contracts, present draft proposals to producers/risk managers, and bind coverage as authorized.
  • Review applications, quotes, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and alignment with negotiated coverage.
  • Process requested policy changes, endorsements, and ensure timely follow‑through with carriers.
  • Invoice policies and endorsements; assist with premium collection in accordance with agency procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage premium financing when required.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all transactions and communication in the agency management system.
  • Issue certificates of insurance and Auto ID cards.
  • Assist with insurance-related contract reviews.
  • Perform experience mod projections and reviews for workers compensation.
  • Prepare loss sensitive program projections and reviews.
  • Provide bid and accrual support for clients.
  • Review audits and facilitate corrections when necessary.
  • Assist with coordination of loss control services and support claims activity.
  • Follow up on new business and renewal quotes and help identify additional coverage needs.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to producers.
  • Assist in training new Commercial Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and share information for mutual clients.
  • Participate in continuing education, seminars, and skill development activities.
  • Adhere to agency procedures, processes, and E&E Quality Management expectations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Competencies & Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze complex insurance situations, needs and options and communicate theseoptions both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner

  • Intermediate computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deal with problems involving clients and staff, as well as vendors
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of activities

Education & Experience:

Pay Transparency Range

$70,000—$80,000 USD
