Job summary

Foundation Risk Partners, a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager to their Acentria team in Miami, FL. The Account Manager will work with the Producer to develop renewal retention strategies, coordinate new business submissions, gather client data, and negotiate pricing with carriers while maintaining strong client and carrier relationships.

Florida-licensed professionals with 4–5 years agency experience and proficiency in EPIC and MS

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving, detail oriented, verbal, written, and self-discipline skills.
• Proficient in insurance agency management software (EPIC) and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Leads renewal and new business strategy with the Producer.
• Gathers client data for submissions to markets.
• Placement of risk independent of Producers.
• Attends marketing and carrier meetings.
• Maintains client and carrier relationships through endorsements and inquiries.
• Interacts with team to service clients.
• Analyzes data to determine client needs and exposures.
• Assists with underwriting questions and pricing discussions.
• Builds strong working relationships with Producers and team.

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager to their Acentria team in Miami, FL.

Job Summary

The Commercial Lines Account Manager leads the team closely in conjunction with the Producer in developing strategy for retention of renewals and new business acquisition. This position regularly exercises discretion and independent judgement on accounts including product and pricing determinations, affecting, interpreting and implementing various company policies. The Account Manager initiates renewal process including preparing submission and binding coverages.

Essential Functions

• Develops retention strategy and new business acquisition meetings with producer
• Gathers data from client: applications, loss runs, inspections etc to submit to market
• Works independently of Producers on placement of risk
• Attends marketing and carrier meetings
• Monitors and updates open items checklists/timelines
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients/carriers through the daily service of endorsements and general coverage questions
• Communicates with Producer and team regarding client
• Analyzes client data to determine client needs and identify potential exposures
• Answers underwriting questions and help negotiate pricing and products
• Ability to build good working relationships with Producers and team members to work as a part of a team

Competencies & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Florida 2-20 P&C insurance license
• College degree or equivalent work experience
