The Jonus Group is seeking a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Durham, NC team. This fully onsite role focuses on managing a diverse book of small to middle-market accounts, delivering proactive servicing and timely policy updates to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling new business and renewals, quoting and placement, and collaborating with colleagues to support retention goals.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• 1 year of commercial insurance agency experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Proficiency with EZLynx and familiarity with Applied EPIC.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 (up to $75,000 for exceptional candidates)

Responsibilities

• Manage a generalist book of business, primarily consisting of small market accounts with some middle-market accounts (premiums of $50,000+).
• Provide day-to-day servicing of commercial accounts, including policy changes, endorsements, and client inquiries.
• Handle new business and renewal marketing, including quoting and placement of policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Utilize EZLynx and Applied EPIC software for account management and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial agency experience (candidates with strong tenure in captive agencies will also be considered).
• Preferred: 3+ years of commercial agency experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EZLynx and familiarity with Applied EPIC (or willingness to learn).
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a client-focused mindset.
• Work Environment: Fully onsite role with potential for hybrid arrangements based on performance and discussion.
