Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial insurance clients in a fast-paced setting. You will act as the main liaison, assessing needs and coordinating coverage with carriers to deliver tailored solutions.

The role emphasizes client relationship building, meticulous documentation, and proactive renewal management, while collaborating with carriers and internal teams to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through responsive service and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to understand insurance needs, assess risk exposures, and recommend appropriate coverage.
  • Analyze commercial insurance programs and identify coverage gaps or deficiencies.
  • Work with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure appropriate coverage options.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and insurance recommendations to clients.
  • Process new business applications, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy changes accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to client inquiries and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor policy expiration dates and proactively manage the renewal process.
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up when needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and insurance carriers to effectively address client needs.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
