Job summary

Cross Insurance is seeking an Account Manager to service commercial policies and maintain strong client relationships. You will respond to inquiries, prepare renewal and new business submissions, and coordinate with underwriters and the AE to market renewals.

The role emphasizes in-depth knowledge of coverages, client visits as a proxy for AE, and seamless coordination across Cross branches. Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have P&C licensure and proven selling experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work with underwriters and AE to market renewals.

Responsibilities

Assist AE in completing these items if possible.Create new policy issuance instructions, quote instructions and renewal instructions for insurance company. (Bind Order)Meet with AE monthly to review marketing instructions.Prepare renewal summaries and proposalsPrepare new business submissions and proposalsHas In-Depth Technical Knowledge of Insurance Coverages & Products to advise clients with very little direction of Account ExecutiveVisit clients as necessary as a proxy for Account ExecutiveAssist in soliciting increases in coverage (Round out accounts)Can provide an Analysis of CoverageAttain CE credits as necessary for licensingRequired Job SkillsP&C LicensureProven experience selling.Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $60,000–$75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
