Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior commercial lighting repairs, maintenance, and upgrades across California.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing lighting components, upgrading egress and emergency lighting, and working with Title 24 lighting systems. You will remove and replace lighting tubes, bulbs, LEDs, and other components, while delivering professional customer service and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of recent commercial experience as an Electrician, Lighting Technician, or Maintenance Technician.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle record check.
• Proficient English communication with ability to write reports and emails.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on commercial electrical and lighting components.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair egress and emergency lighting systems.
• Remove and replace lighting tubes, bulbs, LEDs, and other components.
• Work with Title 24 lighting systems.
• Provide professional customer service regarding lighting repairs.
• Operate company vehicles and work from blueprints or schematics.
• Complete and submit service paperwork and reports.
• Support departmental operations with additional duties.
