Commercial Licensed Electrical Service Technician – diagnose, repair, and install commercial electrical systems. Requires extensive experience in the electrical field, in‑depth knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to work independently and with a team while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems knowledge: Technical expertise in commercial electrical systems, including wiring, transformers, and control circuits.
• Code Compliance & Safety: Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA regulations.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Ability to identify and repair electrical failures efficiently.
• Trade Knowledge: Install, repair, and maintain electrical panels, lighting, motors, and control systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the commercial electrical service industry.
• Class II electrical license required.
• Strong technical skills in commercial electrical control wiring, lighting systems, motors, and transformers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in repairing, installing, and maintaining control circuits and motors, including three‑phase 480 V, 240 V, and single‑phase 120 V systems.
• Blueprints & schematics reading: Ability to interpret electrical diagrams accurately.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs.), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Experience working in a grocery store environment.
