Job summary

Dacotah Bank in Minot, ND invites a seasoned commercial lending professional to manage a diverse loan portfolio for businesses and individuals. You will interview applicants, structure terms, monitor loan performance, and collaborate on large loans while pursuing new business opportunities.

Ideal candidates have strong credit/analytical skills, relationship-building ability, and proficiency with MS Excel, Moody’s underwriting, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of experience in community banking or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship building both internally and with clients and prospects.
• Strong credit/analytical skills.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Highly developed communication skills including the ability to write clear and concise credit correspondence.
• Capability to manage various relationships independently and proactively and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of commercial lending duties in accordance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Direct and participate in establishing lending goals and implement policies and programs.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust lending practices to meet ROI and customer service goals.
• Identify markets and develop plans to target loan opportunities.
• Assist in collections and negotiate revised loan terms as needed.
• Represent the Bank in industry and community groups to promote lending services.
