Job summary

MCBANK is seeking a Client Specialist in New Orleans to assist in structuring and managing commercial loan portfolios in line with credit policy and bank lending standards. The role requires close collaboration with Commercial Relationship Managers to support growth and portfolio health.

You will perform financial and credit analysis, prepare detailed portfolio reports, and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to drive responsible lending decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, finance or related field.
• 2-3 years of commercial portfolio management experience.
• General knowledge of C&I, CRE, financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending, credit analysis, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structuring commercial loans to ensure compliance with credit policies and lending standards.
• Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Managers to support portfolio management and client development.
• Communicate with internal partners and clients regarding portfolios and activities.
• Conduct financial and credit analysis to assess risks and client financials.
• Create and maintain detailed reports on portfolio activities and performance.
