Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in commercial credit or lending.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices and credit analysis.
• Proficient in financial statement review and documentation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a portfolio of commercial banking relationships.
• Analyze credit history of applicants and determine loan repayment capabilities.
• Obtain financial reports and appraisals; document collateral values.
• Negotiate credit terms, loan repayment methods, and collateral specs.
• Partner with lenders to facilitate loan closings, renewals, and portfolio reviews.
• Assist lenders with research, loan participations, and past-due management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service quality and loan administration.
• Represent Monson Savings Bank in the community through events.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and support departmental goals.
