Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Commercial Lending Specialist to join the Commercial Business Underwriting & Decisioning (CBUD) team in the Brockton Liberty Street office. The Specialist assists Approval Officers and Portfolio Managers with administrative duties, credit activities, and loan documentation to ensure complete loan applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field or 1–3 years banking experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to create financial and statistical tools and reports using Excel.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between CBUD team, Commercial Loan Officers, Business Banking Officers, and other areas of the Bank.
• Organize the workflow of applications for Approval Officers.
• Review loan documents for origination, renewals, closings, and advances.
• Order and track documents to complete loan files including appraisals and ESAs when applicable.
• Assist in coordinating information for loan booking and funding.
• Provide daily assistance to internal and external customers with banking questions.
