Job summary

ConnectOne Bank is seeking a Closing Attorney to represent the bank in commercial real estate and C&I loan closings. You will bridge lenders, the Closing Department, and Legal to ensure accurate, compliant transactions.

Requirements include a JD, active NJ/NY Bar admission, and 3–5 years in commercial lending or real estate law. This role offers hybrid work options and growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to NJ and/or NY Bars.
• 3–5 years of relevant legal practice within commercial lending or real estate law.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Bank in commercial real estate and C&I loan closings.
• Collaborate with lenders, Closing Department, and Legal Department to facilitate loan execution.
• Review and finalize loan documentation to ensure legal sufficiency and protection of assets.
• Provide guidance on federal, state, and local laws and regulatory developments.
