• Ability to originate and manage equipment rental loan requests and assess credit worthiness.

Responsibilities

• Originate incoming equipment rental loan requests.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of equipment rental lending relationships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers and referral contacts.
• Obtain financial statements, tax returns, and personal financial statements.
• Screen loan requests for credit worthiness.
• Manage delinquency and past-due loan lists.
• Ensure compliance with the Commercial Banking Group loan policy.

Full Time Professional MAIN OFFICE, Evansville, IN, US

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Commercial Lender (Equipment Rental) to join the commercial lending team in Evansville, IN. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous commercial lending experience is not required but preferred - prior credit analyst/underwriting skills are preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Originate incoming equipment rental loan requests
• Manage an assigned portfolio of equipment rental lending relationships
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing borrowers and key referral contacts
• Obtain required financial statements, tax returns, personal financial statements on existing portfolio
• Ability to screen incoming loan requests for credit worthiness
• Manage assigned delinquency and past-due loan lists
• Ensure that sound lending procedures are followed. Act in compliance with the Commercial Banking Group loan policy at all times
