Edgewood Properties in Piscataway, NJ seeks a Full Time Commercial Laundry Maintenance Technician to service and repair washers/dryers across sites in central New Jersey. Light travel is required between locations, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, electrical diagnostics, and payment-system servicing.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in commercial laundry repair, understands 120–240V systems, and holds EPA 608 certification or HVAC/R background.

Qualifications

• 2+ years repairing commercial laundry equipment.
• Comfortable with electrical systems and gas dryer burners.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Valid driver's license for site-to-site travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial washers and dryers (gas & electric).
• Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults — control boards, motors, bearings, valves, and more.
• Service card-operated payment systems (Laundroworks & ESD) and bill changers at our vended locations.
• Coordinate with wash & fold attendants on machine availability and repair timelines.
• Inspect plumbing, water pressure, and drainage; coordinate with contractors when needed.
• Track parts inventory and log all maintenance activity.

We are currently seeking Full Time Commercial Laundry Maintenance Technician to work out of our Piscataway, NJ location.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial washers and dryers (gas & electric)

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years repairing commercial laundry equipment (any major brand)
• Comfortable with 120V–240V single and three-phase electrical systems
• Experience with gas dryer burner assemblies and gas valve systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
• Valid driver's license — you'll travel between sites
• Able to lift 75 lbs and work in hot, humid environments
• Experience with Laundroworks or ESD card payment systems
• EPA 608 certification or HVAC/R background
