Alliance Laundry Systems LLC is seeking a field service technician to diagnose, repair, and service commercial laundry equipment at On Premises Laundry and Vended sites. You will install parts, document activities, and communicate findings clearly to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of mechanical repair experience, with proficiency in MS Outlook/Word/Excel and basic electrical testing tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of mechanical repair experience; laundry equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with telephone/email/ticketing dispatch systems is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

A day in this roleYou start your morning in a company-supplied service vehicle, route set, tools organized, and tickets synced. Your day blends hands-on diagnostics with clear communication—moving between On-Premise Laundry (OPL) facilities and vended laundries to keep essential machines online and customers satisfied.What you'll doTroubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment (On Premises Laundry & Vended).Install replacement parts and verify proper operation.Accurately document all service activities, including time and materials.Accurately document all travel activities, including mileage and fuel purchases.Explain repair findings and actions to customers to ensure satisfaction.Collaborate with the service manager, parts department, and vendors to secure parts and deliver accurate work.Maintain tools, test equipment, and your company-supplied service vehicle.Assist installation crews with equipment installations and deliveries.Perform other tasks as required to maintain efficient department operations.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school degree or equivalent is required.Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical repair experience; laundry equipment experience preferred but not required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.Working knowledge of electrical testing tools and/or other diagnostic/programming tools.Experience in telephone and email/ticketing dispatch system-based customer support preferred.Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.Skills & AbilitiesStrong mechanical acumen; ability to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.Solid organizational skills and attention to detail; able to self-manage workload and multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; communicate effectively and professionally across all levels while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic demeanor.Resilient and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.Strong work ethic; self-starter demonstrating a proactive approach, self-initiative, and tenacity.TravelSubstantial travel within the assigned service territory.Some overnight travel may be required during special projects.Standard & Physical RequirementsInvolves sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and manual dexterity.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently; assistive devices are provided for greater-weight items.Regularly required to talk and hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. Frequent computer-based work with periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus.Must have a valid driver’s license. A company vehicle may be provided.Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
