A-Tech Commercial Parts & Service is seeking skilled Commercial Kitchen Technicians to diagnose and repair refrigeration systems and related cooking equipment in Windsor, CT. You’ll service ice machines, walk‑ins, ovens, fryers, and HVAC units with precision and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Experience servicing commercial cooking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and ice machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair ovens, fryers, and other cooking equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform preventive maintenance.
• Deliver courteous, professional service.
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers, and managers.
• Rotate through after-hours and weekend on-call shifts.
• Maintain service vehicle and manage parts orders.
• Complete paperwork and attend training.
• Take on additional responsibilities.

Sign‑On Bonus Up to $5,000 (for experienced techs). Competitive Pay, Benefits, Company Vehicle. $25.00–$50.00+ based on experience.

Are you a seasoned commercial kitchen technician who knows how to keep things chill under pressure? A-Tech is on the lookout for experienced professionals who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems with precision and professionalism. From ice machines to walk‑in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units, if you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, steamers, and ranges
• Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
• Deliver outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
• Rotate through after‑hours and weekend on‑call shifts
• Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
• Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
• Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experience servicing commercial cooking equipment
• Eager to learn and grow through hands‑on, onsite training opportunities
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and organized work ethic
• Completion of a successful background check and drug screen
• Driving record must align with safety standards
• Must be 18 years of age
