Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to service the Hampton Roads area, including Williamsburg, Newport News, and surrounding locales. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and specialty equipment, using diagrams and schematics to solve problems.

You’ll manage daily service schedules, work independently, and participate in an on-call rotation that may include nights and weekends.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or technical military service.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness and availability to participate in the evening and weekend emergency on-call rotation.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.

When equipment goes down, a busy kitchen can't wait. We're looking for a mechanically minded problem-solver who enjoys figuring out what went wrong, getting it fixed, and helping customers avoid the next breakdown.

You'll service commercial kitchen equipment for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other businesses throughout Hampton Roads. Bring your troubleshooting skills and technical experience-we'll help you build on them with hands-on training and opportunities to advance.

Candidates must currently live in Williamsburg, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, or Portsmouth.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach; occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Work around moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and potential electrical hazards.
• Work in conditions that may be damp, humid, or freezing.
• Work on ladders and roofs and, occasionally, in high or precarious locations.
