Smart Care is seeking a Service Technician to travel to customer locations and diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, and dishwashers. You will explain findings to customers and help keep kitchens running efficiently.
You will read wiring diagrams, work with restaurant managers to identify issues, manage your schedule, and participate in an on-call rotation that may include nights and weekends. A valid driver's license is required.
Restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other businesses depend on their kitchen equipment every day. When something breaks, they need someone who can figure out whats wrong and get it working again.
As a Service Technician, youll travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment such as commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and dishwashers. Youll work directly with customers, explain what you find, and help them keep their kitchens running.
Commercial cooking or refrigeration repair experience is a plus. So are relevant technical training, licenses, or certifications such as EPA or CFESA.
This is a hands-on field role. Youll frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds. Work may involve ladders and roofs; moving parts; steam, flames, and hot surfaces; and electrical equipment in damp, humid, or freezing conditions. In rare cases, work may be performed in high or precarious locations.
