Whaley Foodservice in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC. You will work with customers and branch to keep repair status up to date.

This role requires at least three years of field experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently. A clean driving record and on-call availability are expected; company benefits include a vehicle, 401(k), and insurance.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in commercial kitchen cooking, refrigeration, and/or HVAC repair.
• High school graduate/GED or the equivalent in experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC.
• Communicate repair status updates with customer and branch office.
• Communicate parts orders with branch.
• Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Whaley standards and safety first.
• Meet on-call requirements.
