Job summary

Whaley Foodservice is seeking a diligent service technician responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment. You will troubleshoot and fix kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC systems, order parts, and update customers and branches on progress.

Responsibilities include completing service tickets, stock management on the vehicle, and maintaining tools and uniforms. Occasional on-call and travel to sites are required.

Qualifications

• Three years maintenance experience including repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
• Strong HVAC experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete paperwork promptly

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen, refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Orders parts by communicating with branch office.
• Informs customers and branches about repair status.
• Completes service tickets per procedures.
• Manages stocked parts on the service vehicle.
• Maintains vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Whaley quality.
• Meets reasonable on-call requirements.
