Job summary

P&D Appliance is seeking a Field Service Technician to service commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment across the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, and surrounding communities. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain kitchen equipment while traveling to client sites and ensuring safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience repairing commercial gas, electrical, steam, and/or refrigeration equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and be punctual.
• Excellent customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies, including use of PPE.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen equipment.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of tools, parts, and electrical principles (Ohm's law, Watts law).
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues regarding repairs and status.
• Navigate service software and communications channels to provide quality service.
