Job summary

Commerce Casino seeks a skilled refrigeration and kitchen equipment technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial kitchen systems across its venues. You will handle walk-ins, ice machines, ovens, hoods, and related equipment to keep kitchens operational around the clock.

Requires minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience, strong knowledge of HVAC tools and safe work practices, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting commercial kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC tools, materials, and safe work practices as well as diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain kitchen refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen equipment (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins, prep tables, ovens, ventilation).
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs to keep kitchens operational at all times across multiple locations.
• Maintain stock, tools, and safety equipment; complete paperwork and report to supervisor.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work full-time during tournaments and peak periods.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and work with minimal supervision as required.
