Cooking Equipment Specialist Inc. (CES) in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of commercial cooking equipment, including fryers, ranges, griddles, warmers, and smokers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with cooking equipment installation and repair.
• Industry related education may be considered.
• Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE, and FACTORY are preferred.
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on cooking equipment such as fryers, ranges, griddles, warmers, smokers, etc.
• Read and understand English written wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, hoists, rigging equipment, torches and measuring equipment to perform service of the unit.
• Operate a commercial vehicle and trailer in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Effectively communicate with the customer, and work independently under pressure, and without close supervision.
