The Facilities Specialist at Yum! in Florida focuses on diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and supporting commercial kitchen equipment across a multi-unit portfolio. The role emphasizes uptime, food safety compliance, and reliable restaurant operations in a fast-paced QSR environment.

You will work with hot and cold-side equipment, read wiring diagrams and gas schematics, and partner with restaurant managers to resolve issues quickly while maintaining safety and standard operating procedures.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of commercial restaurant equipment repair experience, preferably in QSR or food service environments.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including gas, electric, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, gas schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Manufacturer certifications (Henny Penny, Pitco, Vulcan, Garland, Rational, or equivalent) preferred.
• QSR or multi-unit restaurant experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms Corrigo or Service Channel.
• Technical or trade school training in electrical, mechanical, or commercial kitchen equipment repair.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work around hot surfaces, sharp equipment, and moving parts.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work extended periods.
• Ability to access equipment in tight kitchen environments.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hot side and cold side kitchen equipment used in Quick Service Restaurant operations.
• Ensure equipment reliability, food safety compliance, and uninterrupted operations across a multi-unit portfolio.
• Read wiring diagrams, gas schematics, and technical manuals to support repairs.
• Communicate repair status clearly with restaurant managers regarding equipment operation.
• Complete accurate work orders including diagnostics, repairs, parts used and follow-up recommendations.
