Job summary
CT Mechanical is seeking a Commercial Journeyman Plumber to install new plumbing systems, bring existing systems into compliance with current code requirements, and alter/install plumbing systems in medium and large facilities. You will work with Foremen and Superintendents to understand jobsite-specific requirements and complete project goals safely and efficiently.
Requires a Florida Journeyman license, 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, and familiarity with Florida Plumbing Code.
Qualifications
- Code requirements knowledge and safety practices in commercial plumbing.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing and project execution.
- Familiarity with Florida Plumbing Code; ability to read plans and layout drawings.
Responsibilities
- See projects through all stages of construction from rough-in to commissioning.
- Work with Foremen and Superintendents to meet daily, weekly and monthly project goals.
- Communicate effectively to understand jobsite requirements for plumbing installation.
- Install new plumbing systems safely and with high craftsmanship.
- Assist foremen/supers in training Apprentices and guiding the team.
- Assist in material procurement, laydown, and waste handling.
- Perform work safely and efficiently.
