Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of financial services risk, business controls or compliance experience.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with discretion and understanding when confidentiality is needed.
• Working knowledge of payments ecosystems (ACH, wires, real-time payments), cloud computing concepts, and technology-enabled business processes.
• Ability to identify opportunities and build trusting strategic internal and external relationships.
• Familiarity with OCC Heightened Standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and implement controls for Commercial IT and Payments IT platforms.
• Provide risk analysis related to payments systems, cloud, and technology risks.
• Investigate root causes of operational losses and report them.
• Gather, analyze, and report risk data to stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports for management and partners on milestones and risks.
• Stay informed of industry regulations and best practices for compliance.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk management issue resolution.
• Collaborate with second and third lines of defense (Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, Audit).
• Assist with regulatory change management for payments processing and technology infrastructure.
• Participate in ERM scenario analyses including cyber and digital disruption.
