Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on commercial irrigation experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, wiring, and pipe repairs.
• Ability to read irrigation plans and identify system issues.
• Strong understanding of commercial landscape maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accurately analyze and diagnose problems related to commercial irrigation systems.
• Prioritize, schedule, and perform irrigation service work, including inspections, start-ups, winterizations, repairs, and system adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair irrigation system failures, including valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, wiring, pipe breaks, and leaks.
• Program, troubleshoot, and adjust irrigation controllers.
• Install irrigation systems and components as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding system performance, repairs, and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle.
• Plan and complete daily routes efficiently.
