Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician in Greensboro, NC to repair and maintain irrigation systems for commercial and residential clients. This hands-on role combines technical troubleshooting with planning, administration, and safety compliance to ensure reliable system performance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing controllers, installing as needed, operating related equipment, coordinating daily workloads, and maintaining vehicle inventories.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency with irrigation tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose electrical components of irrigation systems.
• Proficient in safe operation of related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair irrigation systems and perform new installations as needed.
• Diagnose and repair irrigation controllers using diagnostic tools.
• Safely operate trenchers, excavators, and related equipment.
• Load/unload tools and handle materials for daily work.
• Schedule daily workloads and coordinate equipment/materials.
• Maintain fleet cleanliness and inventory for irrigation vehicles.
• Record materials used and submit daily timesheets.
• Communicate progress with Production Manager and team.
