Job summary

Winterberry Gardens is seeking an experienced Commercial Irrigation Equipment Operator to join our Commercial Irrigation Department. This is a full-time traveling role that requires operating heavy equipment on irrigation projects at multiple job sites, with travel within Connecticut and to out-of-state locations.

The candidate must have a valid driver''s license, a current DOT Medical Card, and be willing to travel. OSHA-10 is a plus; benefits and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability and willingness to travel both in state and out of state.
• Availability to work full-time.

Job Description

Winterberry Gardens is looking for an experienced Commercial Irrigation Equipment Operator to join our Commercial Irrigation Department.
This is a full-time traveling position that requires both in-state and out-of-state travel . We are looking for someone with experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators , who is comfortable traveling to different job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators, for commercial irrigation projects.
• Work as part of the Commercial Irrigation team on projects at various job sites.
• Travel to job sites both within Connecticut and out of state.
• Follow company and job-site safety requirements.
• Perform work safely and efficiently as part of the field team.

Requirements
