Job summary

Lawley-Agency,-LLC in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Commercial Insurance Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and placement process. You will respond to internal requests, compile loss summaries, assist with proposals, and input data across carrier systems.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. A HS diploma is required, with a preferred Bachelor’s, and a license in Property & Casualty or willingness to pursue within 90

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in an administrative support or related position.
• High School Diploma or equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
• Experience navigating windows-based software.
• Property & Casualty License or willingness to pursue within 90 days.
• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well independently and on a team.
• Positive attitude, even in a fast paced environment.
• A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued.
• Capability to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal requests for insurance placement/marketing.
• Compile loss summaries on new business and assist marketers and account managers with the development of supplemental applications.
• Assist commercial marketing team with proposal generation, and data input.
• Utilize company websites/carrier systems to rate and quote commercial insurance.
• Compare quote worksheets and assist in the development of proposals.
• Conduct research, work with Sales Advisors and input information for new business submissions.
• Assist with new business applications and review all submissions for accuracy.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $63,250.00 Annually

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45,000.00 to $63,250.00.
