Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Seattle office for a Counsel in the Litigation Department with eight to twelve years of commercial litigation experience. Experience with insurance bad faith and coverage litigation and complex commercial litigation is preferred. Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the state of Washington, license to practice in the state of Oregon a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.

Ability to independently run a case from start to finish with no oversight.

Extensive deposition, oral argument, and trial experience preferred.

Extensive 1st chair experience as a hands on leader of cases and work, rather than delegating, preferred.

Federal and state court experience preferred.

Experience in either a large law firm or boutique law firm preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position applies to Washington. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $235,000 - $250,000.
