Hiscox USA is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide day-to-day support to the US business unit, reporting to the VP of Legal and P&O. The role focuses on policy wordings, endorsements, product strategy, and regulatory matters, with collaboration across business units.

This hybrid position requires in-office presence at least twice a week and offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary, and performance-based bonus opportunities.

Formación

• 4+ years of law firm or in-house insurance industry experience in the property & casualty space (preferred liability).
• Understanding of property & casualty insurance products, including cyber, D&O, E&O & GL.
• Experience with insurance policy wordings, coverage, and regulatory approval processes.
• Commercial contract negotiation experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance contract principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop policy form wordings and endorsements with product and regulatory teams.
• Draft and review insurance services and distribution agreements; support marketing initiatives.
• Advise on regulatory matters, filings, and regulator inquiries; support product updates and redesigns.
• Collaborate across legal, compliance, and other control functions on projects.
